Our Weekend Edit is having a family adventure in the beautiful Lake District. From lakes to hills, SUP to hiking, delicious food, drinks, luxury hotels and not to forget Beatrix Potter; the Lake District is an unrivalled destination for families. A perfect place for a romantic break or a weekend of family fun, we've chosen to make this weekend one for family!

Staying
Another Place, The Lake. Alfred Wainwright described Ullswater as 'that loveliest of lakes' and we couldn't agree more!
Another Place is positioned perfectly on Ullswater's edge, creating the perfect base for fun and adventure. With it's home away from home vibe, the staff could not have been more accommodating to ourselves and our children (9 months and 2!) Surrounded by families of all ages, we weren't alone in thinking that this was the perfect base for our weekend plans! Adventuring
Whether you want to hike, canoe or paddle, you can arrange activities via the hotel who will set you up and send you off with packed lunches for your adventures!
Family and pram friendly walks a plenty, we headed to The Hiking Household for detailed family friendly walks throughout the Lakes! She'll even help you bag your first Wainwright!!

VISITING
You can't go to the Lake District without visiting Beatrix Potter World on Lake Windermere.
ADVENTURES
Glenridding Sailing Centre offers you to hire canoes, kayaks and boats. As long as there is an adult there is no age restrictions!
RELAXING
Little (and big legs) exhausted? We're relaxing in the pool and hopefully sending the kids off with dad so we can enjoy the spa!
